About the Role:
Seeking a compassionate and experienced live-in caregiver to provide dedicated support for an individual with low-spectrum autism and behavioural needs. The caregiver will help with day-to-day tasks, emotional regulation, and creating a structured, safe environment conducive to growth and well-being. The shift timings for this position include the Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible Hours and Morning.

Qualification: Secondary High School
The candidate should be fluent in English language enough for effective communication with therapists during BDS home sessions.
Experience
- 9 months or more experience with children on low spectrum autism ASD and intellectual disability.
- Experience and knowledge of handling dysregulation, behavioral management techniques and supporting communication development.
- Understanding of sensory processing disorders.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Has driver’s license.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one care to child and assistance to therapists during home therapy sessions.
- Assist child with bathing, toileting and other aspects of personal hygiene.
- Assist in daily regular exercise, community and outdoor activities as part of regulation.
- Launder clothing and household linens.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals as provided by the child’s dietician.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Take children to and from school and to appointments.
- Assume full responsibility for the child in absence of parents at work or school.

Work setting
Free accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: Live-in is necessary of employment because of my son’s condition that I need support anytime. Any hours worked overtime are paid.
