Key Responsibilities
As a dedicated childcare provider, you will ensure the well-being and development of the children in your care. Your tasks will include:
- Diaper Changing & Toilet Training: Change diapers and assist with toilet training as per parents’ guidance.
- Bottle Preparation: Sterilize bottles and prepare baby formulas.
- Household Management: Take full responsibility for the household in parents’ absence.
- Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Travel Assistance: Accompany the family on trips and assist with child supervision and chores.
- Laundry: Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
- Childcare: Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
- Discipline: Discipline children according to the parents’ methods.
- Education & Development: Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
- Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- Activity Planning: Organize activities such as games and outings.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Rest Periods: Prepare infants and children for rest periods.
- Supervision: Supervise and care for children.
- Transport: Take children to and from school and appointments.
- Emotional Support: Tend to the emotional well-being of children.
- Homework Assistance: Help children with homework.
Qualifications
Education:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of childcare experience
Languages:
- Proficient in English
Work Environment:
- Non-smoking
Work Setting:
- Employer’s home
- Optional live-in accommodation available at no charge (Note: This is NOT a condition of employment)
- Room and board provided
- Relocation costs not covered by employer
