We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Live-in Nanny to join a loving family in Whitby, ON. This full-time position requires an individual with a minimum of 5 years of child care experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage a household in the absence of parents. Location: Whitby, ON
Salary: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour (Negotiable) | 35 to 45 hours per week

Work Schedule: Daytime (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities
As a Live-in Nanny, your duties will include:
- Child Care: Supervise and care for infants and children, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and overseeing nap times.
- Household Management: Take full responsibility for the household when parents are absent, performing light housekeeping and shopping for supplies.
- Child Development: Organize activities such as games and outings, promote social development, and instruct children in personal hygiene.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals for the children.
- Travel Assistance: Accompany the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping.
- Safety and Discipline: Maintain a safe, healthy home environment, and follow the parents’ guidelines for discipline and behavior management.
- Daily Records: Keep track of children’s activities, health information, and any relevant daily records.
- Housekeeping: Wash, iron, and press clothing and linens, and perform other household chores as needed.
Qualifications
- Language: Fluent in English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience: 5 years or more in child care or a related role
- Work Setting: On-site at the employer’s home (no remote work)
- Security: Must pass a Child Abuse Registry check, criminal record check, and drug test
Work Environment
- Non-smoking home: The workplace is a clean, smoke-free environment.
- Accommodation: On-site housing options available but not required.
- Relocation Costs: Covered by the employer.
- Weight Handling: Ability to handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs) may be required.
- Work Conditions: Overtime may be required, with attention to detail and a physically demanding role.
